Common questions
The extension says "Sign in". What do I do?
The extension uses your Guidie sign-in from the browser. Sign in at guidie.ai in the same Chrome profile, then open the extension again.
It says "Open the web page you want to record first".
Recording works on regular web pages (addresses starting with http or https). Chrome's own pages, such as the new tab page, settings and the Chrome Web Store, can't be recorded. Open the app you want to document, then press Start.
My guide's steps are still empty or one step is wrong.
The AI writes the steps right after you press Stop, which takes a moment; the guide page fills in on its own. If a step failed or reads wrong, you can rewrite or re-voice just that step from the guide page.
How do I get a copy of my data or delete my account?
Email us from the address on your account and say what you need. We reply within 30 days, as described in the privacy policy.
Does Guidie cost anything?
No. Guidie is free during the beta.
